Helgerudkvartalet in Sandvika with its nearly 60 000m2 is an urban development project with a complex energy infrastructure and a clear focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Skanska, Andenæs Eiendom and VENI Metering Helgerudkvartalet -Control, insight and fair allocation
The project has been designed in accordance with the stringent requirements of BREEAM NOR, ensuring a level of environmental performance that exceeds standard regulatory requirements. To achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, a comprehensive energy monitoring system has been implemented, including sub-metering for all significant electrical and thermal loads. This enables energy-efficient operation and supports low energy consumption.
On behalf of Skanska (the contractor) and Andenæs Eiendom (the owner and developer), VENI Metering has implemented a solution for metering and validation of data for electricity, thermal energy, and solar power generation. VENI Metering is responsible for consumption billing to end users as well as the settlement of solar power compensation to the property owner. In addition, we ensure that operations personnel have full visibility of all energy and metering data through the VENI Portal. Throughout the project, VENI Metering worked closely with the client’s project managers at Vikos Prosjekt AS, who are responsible for energy management and performance monitoring of the property. This strong collaboration helped ensure an efficient and well-integrated energy management solution.
The solution from VENI Metering also includes collection and validation of consumption data, as well as the preparation of billing data for thermal energy and water consumption for over 200 residential units in Helgerudkvartalet. In this context, we work closely with OBOS Eiendomsforvaltning, which serves as the property manager for the housing condominiums.
It has been an exciting and rewarding journey together with Andenæsgårdene Bærum, Skanska, and Vikos Prosjekt. Working collaboratively, we have successfully addressed complex technical and operational requirements and created the foundation for optimal property management. As a result, all tenants now benefit from a strong focus on sustainability, as well as accurate and fair allocation of energy consumption and associated costs.
